The UPS man has stopped at my house everyday this week. I think he has a crush on me. Or maybe I do most of my shopping online.

On the ninth day of Advent it is still not too late to order from online stores. Some of my favorite places to shop our your Etsy shops, or just online shops in general.
Campfollower bags, Tia I have written about her here , always has beautiful and innovative things You can go directly to her shop here.

Why yes I would love this pillow for Christmas! Thank you!
Pioneer Woman Hello, now has not two books out, a Cookbook which is really a feast for the eyes and now the How I met Marlboro Man romance Novel from Black heels to Tractor Wheels.
Hestermania, Leah my bloggety friend’s shop always have items after my own heart, and suitable for my kids and our budget.

Etsy in general is a fun place to buy from and I am an online shopper, I struggle with in store shopping because there is no search engine! Need stitch markers? zing! Size 9 shoes! Poof!

hat found here, baby not included.
Adorable baby hats and stockings? Don’t forget my etsy shop. (What?)
The best thing about online shopping? they ship it! No waiting in post office lines only be told your package is too heavy and will cost $1000 and you right arm. Online shopping sends packages right to the destination. Hurray! Standing in line for other people!

Lots of crafting going on at the Burrow, and we decided to clear the cobwebs out of the Etsy shop as it is so much easier than reaching the cobwebs in the high ceilings of The Burrow.

cutie patootie baby hat in the shop

One of Scott’s Pots errr bowls. See that carving. That is the kind of attention that man puts into everything. Seriously. Every day. That intense. It’s pretty awesome.

Murray the Owl is back. You’ve seen him originally as child artwork, you’ve seen him as a stocking. You’ve seen him as a mini quilt. Here he is as a bag.

He is currently for sale in our Etsy shop.
Shock of all Shocks, with the Internet down I’ve been really productive. Instead of being lost in blog land I’ve been working my way down the list of my Crafty to do list. And you know how craftiness begets craftiness…you do right?
With each completed projected I allowed myself a little fun. I made Murray, he just popped into my head. He is constructed from the leftover piece of this old flour sack I picked up at the Thrift store.

This bag I made for me. Because I am going on the Western Washington Shop Hop this year (I actually already hit four stores on Wednesday) and I need a way to organize my, uh, collection of patterns for each year. Truth be told? I have already finished two blocks from this year! I know! Awesome. But I really love the fabric this year, so there was extra incentive.
Then of course there was this bag, because we have snails on the brain here. Sarah the Snail is in the Etsy shop as well. I love her, but she is a might girly for my boys.

Because she of course was a precursor to this Sam the Snail (previously seen on a pair of jeans) bag. I figured it was high time my own little guy had a bag for his sketch book and pencils (pictured here a drawing from Uncle Dick, which includes Stanley. Moo’s friend the Fish. Of course!).

The bag is also handy for keeping this cute snail (and sheep) that arrived here today from our favorite Etsy shop. I have a problem! I am so addicted to these little wood creatures from Woodmouse loves wood. It’s probably best that Murray and Sarah are in the shop (even though it was a hard decision) since I have to feed the woodmouse addiction some how.
Of course now that our internet is fixed, I’ll have all your lives, crafts and antics to keep me busy too. Hurray for the Internets!
Well I’m not entirely satisfied, but part of the shop is updated…

and more importantly Murray finally sat still long enough to take his picture, he kept flitting all over, very unbecoming for an owl.
