..and unfortunately so are the fleas…ick.
Newly returned from our mental and physical getaway to the San Juan Islands, (BEAUTIFUL wish you were here!!) I found no less than three fleas on my son’s head in the first hour we were home. Did I mention ick?
One, was enough to send us to the store to by flea bombing products, and pack up our belongings for a trip to grandma’s and grandpa’s for the evening.
So all my new energy for all those baby quilts I’m behind on…..wasted. Instead this morning I’m shipping the moo off to Ama’s house for the day while I tackle the clean up…at least until it is time for school. Grump!
Mondays….who needs em?
Thanks for all your emails, I’ll try to respond in a timely manner, but you know…I’m grumpy right now so probably we should wait! *grin*

sounds like you need a vacation to rest up from your vacation…
Welcome home! Sorry about the fleas… hopefully they will skedaddle now that you’re home.
ICK is right! Hope you killed them all. I found that Raid Flea/Tick Foggers worked the best. The aerosols seemed to just annoy them. We had a cat that came pre-flead from the previous owner. Grrrr.
welcome home brit! sorry you had some visitors waiting for you though. it’s a constant struggle and it sucks and i feel ya! good luck getting rid of the little bastards!
Jon,
I think by flea standards, our house is presently about as hospitable as, say, Io or Europa. The packaging says not to put more than one can per room. For round two I interpreted that as not more than one can per room from any one manufacturer. We got three brands from the grocery and another from the dog kenneling place that should have been called “EyeKauseKancer” or maybe just “Bad Mofo, Flea Lay Down” I also went around in a respirator and hand sprayed under all the furinture, behind appliances, etc. Anyway, if round two doesn’t work, I’m going to double the number of cans yet once again and then leave the pilot light burning.
