Look this post is already so much better than yesterday’s post. A picture! An owl! Yes this is the same owl inspired by Moo’s school project. The original is hanging on my bookcase just waiting for the ‘painted wall look’ that I hope to achieve in here soon.
It could happen. I could paint this room, I’ll even tell you a secret. I bought the paint on Sunday. Yes. Yes, I did.
Back to Morose Murray the owl, that’s what I’m calling him. He’s a little peeved, frankly he can’t believe that his debut was pushed so far back into oblivion that now no one will even remember that there was going to be a blogoversary giveaway.

Murray is hand appliquéd and quilted. If you are allergic to wool you should not sleep under this quilt as it has felted wool batting. However since Murray measures a mere 11 by 12 inches even on his tallest days, you would have to be quite wee in order to snuggle up under him.

Oh, my feet are *really* COLD tonight. I sure could use a warm blanket to snuggle up in.
Murray needs to stay in my warm green room. Owls like green. He would keep me warm on these cold winter nights! I need a Murray in my life!
Maybe Murray wants warmer climes? He is awfully wee, and even with the wool batting perhaps he’s like me and chills easily. He could come live with us in Florida; we’d keep him nice and comfy. (Brit, you’ve outdone yourself!)
