I was in the shower today ( my favorite place to be) when the phone rang. And I didn’t get out because usually if you drop everything for the phone ringing, its a telemarketer or a politician or My Father in Law asking for one of us to come over and make his dvd player speak english because he doesn’t understand Thai and how come all his movies keep speaking to him in Thai? Yeah, I don’t know either.

So the phone rang.

And that immediately made me think of Three Men and A Baby.

Remember that scene where Sam (not his real name) from Cheers is in the shower with the baby and Steve Guttenberg and Tom Selleck call and can’t get through because Sam (not his real name) from Cheers is in the shower with the baby? So they get a phone installed in the shower.

And the repair man says to Sam (not his real name) from Cheers, “Do you get a lot of calls in here?” And Sam (not his real name) from Cheers replies…

“A Steady Stream.”

I just got that now. Twenty years later.

“A Steady Stream.”

Ha!
