I wish I could say that my children ate the delicious macaroni and cheese that I make from scratch, complete with pepper jack cheese and Ritz crackers (or more likely saltines). It is my standard go to frozen dish for We have a new baby! or We were in the hospital, or Hi! I’m just friendly.
It’s easy and darn yummy. But these guys? Not so much. They break their “I can only really cook four dinner dishes and this is one of them” mama’s heart by insisting on eating the orange glow. And they have to eat THE cheapest box. Don’t try to upgrade them or mix Annie’s organic in their, they just turn up their noses. The little dears.
At least I can dress it up nice with these new place mats that I won from Green Jello’s give a way. (and also a train, because we must have trains!)I love them! She has such great taste in fabric. Also did I mention I won something? I love it!

Dude, at least your kids EAT mac n’ cheese. I have one who shall remain nameless that has thus far shunned even the Orange Glow. He is no child of mine.
Oh dear,
I remember those days…one will still only eat the cheap orange glow stuff and he is 28. Thinks it is better than anything I can make. Then there is the granddaughter who says that Denny’s makes the best…even better than Mom or Grammy! Go Figure…still developing taste buds at least I hope that is it.

Um, Pepperjack and crackers???? can you send me your recipe? =) Yummmmmmmmmmmmmyyyy!!
I’m happy to see they are getting good use! I know the Mac and Cheese is bad, but it tastes so good. I try to sell the “good replacement” products to my kids, “it’s kind of like Koolaide, but without all those bad chemicals.” They don’t buy it.
My girls are the exact same way about the mac-n-cheese. But they’re older than your-so they should know better!!
