So I woke up this morning with a cramp in my instep, not good. So I’ve spent time stretching my legs and eating bananas, make sure I get protein in my system for lunch. I’ve decided not to freak about the half this weekend.
For one, what is the point of freaking out? That won’t help me run. Secondly, I’ve only missed one long run, I’ve trained much more consistently for this half than for any of the other five I’ve run. Thirdly, Hey, I’m hot…what more need I say?
Any tips from the RBF? I’m open to tips.
Last night while I finished up the applique on the Celtic Tulips, which I think I will make it to either a small wall hanging or a pillow, we watched The Office Special . Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are brilliant! As is the entire cast. And (spoiler alert!! do not read furthur if you are a fan and haven’t seen it, skip directly to the next paragraph) Dawn and Tim get together. Beautifully written. I cried.
I love Netflix ( I love a lot of things lately) because you can rent things that do not come to SmallTown USA. The Man told me that he heard they are re-making The Office in the Us. I doubt I’ll see it. It ruined Coupling when they brought it to America, learn to appreciate culture people!! A lot of the humor has to do with the English culture…..sheesh (i’ll get off my soap box now.)
