I’m struggling with today’s post. I’m struggling with the Turtledash recap. Much like I struggled at the start line this year as I tried to come up with something to say. Something that encompassed how overwhelmed I was and yet acknowledged that inevitability of the show of support for Mariza that the Turtledash was this year. And yet all I could come up with at the start was ‘amazing’. Erik was amazing. Get ready, get set, Go!
Mariza is well loved, and well supported and amazing. And words really fail me this week.

Maybe I’ll forget about writing and just this picture which sums up the run for me this year. Much better than any of the words I’ve written tonight, all of which I’ve erased. I am so proud and just a little bit jealous, and totally in love with everyone in this picture.
Especially that tall guy in orange, I think I’ll go tell him.

Whenever you write about Mariza (besides being absolutely impressed by her), its a potent reminder to me not to take this life I have for granted. I think I’ll go tell my guy, too.
