I could tell right away he was sick, even without feeling his forehead or pinning him to the floor so I could stick the thermometer under his arm….see how he isn’t moving at all…..yep. Sick.
It’s easy to get frustrated by the little things. Like the sticky note on my monitor that says;
Monday- RRR
Tuesday-Mushroom
Wednesday-bloggy love
Thursday-Murray!
I mean sure it doesn’t make any sense to you, but to mean its a quickly scratched outline for this week’s postings. Soooo much for that.
It’s not that frustrating. Nope. It’s like I’m ahead for next week! I’m ready. You know who else is ready? Murray! Except it rained all day here and I didn’t get a good picture of him. Plus I had to move all the furniture in the front room…because you know it was all wrong! But tomorrow! Tomorrow Murray for sure….

Before I moved all the furniture but after Wah decided sleeping on the floor was better. He is three and doesn’t understand about drafts! Hello, making everything harder for me.
And the boys are on the mend, sure they still have temperatures but they both briefly got up and chased each other around the house today. Naturally this was after I made them carry their laundry to their rooms “my waundry is too heavy” (from the three year old) “but…I’m sooo wiped out”…..(from the five year old) .
Great you can nap in your bed after you put away your clothes. Fun!

Of course he is on the floor…it’s….him. Why sleep on the couch that is right! there! He is the ‘chopping man’ (note the axe). The sleeping ‘chopping man’ as it were.
The truth is, I really like staying home. I don’t just work at home because it is convenient (it is!) or because I’m terrified of other people (I am!) but because I like the reprieve from running all over. No where to go, no one to infect. Lots of cuddling and using of hand sanitizer…
No remembering to be here by this time, or back before the bus drops Moo off. No having to shower or match my socks (for the record I am physically unable to wear unmatched socks, it’s a condition).
Just changing movies for the partially comatose. And making tea. And folding the laundry. The never ending piles of laundry…..
The best thing is though. Thursday! Murray! See you there!

“Numa Numa song”

I’m now going to have the Numa Numa song stuck in my head all day.
Hope all are feeling better soon.
You know, reading this post brought back memories of my sister and I getting sick and our mom making us soap on rainy Sundays.
Just relaxing, looking out the window, enjoying soup with my mom and sister.
Beautiful times.
I hope the boys have a quick recovery
