And the winner of the Hestermania is lucky number six. Libby! Send me your address so Santa can deliver to the right address!
Don’t worry, santa left a few more goodies at my place (he is busy you know) to give away this week, I’ll be doing more giveaways on Thursdays leading up to Christmas.
Running Log
Monday- 2miles walked and chiropractor (ow.)
Tuesday- 2miles walked Physical Therapy
Wednesday- 2 miles walked
Thursday-lay around crying and icing my low back, hip and leg
Friday- 1.5 miles, still sniffling then 8 minutes on tread mill at PHysical Therapy.
Saturday- lots of whining and icing of low back and leg.
Sunday- barely could stand when I woke up but walked 3.5 miles! three point five!
Then later I hiked at Ecola Park (more on that later) I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to move tomorrow….the funny thing is I feel great when I’m walking..its the sitting afterwards that is the problem.
It’s weird to move to a place where you are training for a walk. Humbling in a lot of ways and making me grateful for my general good health

I am just curious – have you tried acupuncture? I could not run for like five years with this horrible pain in my neck and shoulder. I did acupuncture for about a year (through my 2nd pregnancy even) and it was amazing how great my body feels now! Just a thought
I second Christina!
I hear acupuncture is sooo reviving. I’ve never tried it myself (probably should), but everyone that’s tried it raves about it.
You’re doing awesome! Don’t be discouraged or embarassed. It’s the getting out and doing it that counts (whether its 2 or 20 miles) and being big enough to stop when you can’t.
