The weekend was extremely chilly as promised 7 degrees in town, we ventured out each day on exploring adventures. Wandering up and town valley and the into the Canyons. Still trying to get a good grasp of the area we live in. There is so much to see here, and you can see, it often feels, forever.
After a weekend of Aquariams, librariers, hidden mountain towns and of course more sledding. We settled into Sunday afternoon, with some cookies. Always an adventure in itself, we had dinosaurs, rocket ships, guitars, snowflakes and turtles and the infamous snail whale. (we just can’t decide which animal it looks like more)
And I broke out my new cookie cutters and made some thimbles and spools. (thanks Kelli Oliver George) I had big plans to decorate them, but unfortunately I ate them all hot out of the oven.
It was a pretty good weekend.

Glad you enjoyed the cookie cutters! Looks like it was the perfect weather to do something warm and cozy such as baking.
also? I cannot decide whether that is a snail or whale, either. First glance, it was totally a whale until you put it in my head that it could be a snail.
Same here about the snail/whale question.
